I took my first black-and-white photographs in 1945. In the mid-1960s I
began wandering the deserted Sunday streets of what was still a post-war London, taking
colour photographs of the bomb sites, run-down backstreets, dusty antique shops and
greasy-spoon cafés. These photographs are now in the collection of the Museum of
London.
I and my unique pictures
have been featured in the ITV series Disappearing London, presented by pop
star Suggs, screened a number of times in the UK and USA.
